Eve 2 Sold

Back to basics . . . wish I could take credit for this title but it's actually
an apple from New Zealand called "Eve." I have two other paintings
that I'll photograph in the morning . . . all the same apple on different
grounds, color backgrounds. Realizing the importance of temperature
and the need for green and other cool colors to make red be red.

This is wonderful, Lorraine. I like the reflective light in the rich red apple. I also like the planes in the apple. Looking forward to seeing more.

Ditto about how I found your blog. Your apples are luscious!

Thank you! I appreciate your encouragement and support! Virginia---I tried to find your blog but didn't
. . . if you have one, let me know so I can follow. (And thanks for the stern-talking-to!)

Elizabeth---your work is stunning! I am still in that twilight zone, torn between wishing I could take flight as you have or stay down here on earth. :-)

Lorraine, didn't mean to come across as stern. Just meant i think we all have those voices in our heads telling us we aren't very good. You need to banish those voices!

I'm surprised that you couldn't find my blog. I thought if you click on my name in the comments field it would take you to my profile.

Virginia---I took your comment in the best possible way! I have a lot of experience with those voices and gave them form in my Persona series in 2001- (www.lorraineshirkus.com). I will post one of them on the blog.

Clicking on your name in Comments did the trick! Nice work! I look forward to seeing more!!!
