I was taken with this scene because of the light and pattern. All
the geometry provided the opportunity to think more abstractly and
experiment with textures. This is one of the paintings in my recent
exhibit—it was really great to see the work framed, lit and presented
on gallery walls.

This is such a wonderful painting, Lorraine..I imagine not an easy piece to paint..Beautiful colors! I would love to see this one in an exhibit!!!

I am amazed at the perfect harmony in the shapes, each complimenting the other, this is a masterpiece!

This is one of my favorites of your new body of work, Lorraine! I love the geometry of it and the contrast of lights and darks within the piece. I know if it hung on my wall, I would be stopping often to gaze and speculate on the lives of people living there.
