I love those warm and cool reds, Lorraine, set off by that light roof and the complementary greens.
I agree with your statement about modification. Being a visual learner it's easier for me to modify something after it's on the canvas rather than begin with the suggestive image right off. Maybe as my skills grow I'll be able to see the impression in my vision at the beginning.
There's something about barns I LOVE, Lorraine...and a red one,, even better!!!! Wonderful work.
