Neighbors

I was really taken with the light flooding the tops of these two
buildings and how the red building colored the gray one. They shared
an alley on Galveston's wharf side which has a wealth of old industrial
buildings.

Bonjour chère amie,

J'aime la manière que vous avez magnifié la lumière dans cette peinture.
Une très belle harmonie de couleurs...

Oh, Lorraine! This is AMAZING! I am really liking the urban paintings so much! What colorful beauty you bring to a subject that years ago, I dismissed as not being scenic except in size. What a foolish notion that was! Boy, have my eyes been opened in the past few years to the possibilities of metropolitan architecture. This is a stunning example of dramatic elegance! Your reflected light, disappearing edges, texture and color harmony make this an outstanding piece!
