each for a few days, they seemed overwhelming.

Nice, Lorraine. I agree that greens aren't easy. I make a lot of grays. I also use alizarin crimson in some of the shadows to vary the color. I'm still struggling along.
SO beautiful, Lorraine..I think these greens are perfect. I think that greens aren't easy with pastels as well!
I think this painting is so lovely! It is so serene and peaceful! I agree with everyone above -- very beautiful!
